Active Hope: A Journey for These Times
Discover an online journey: « How to Face the Mess We’re in with Unexpected Resilience and Creative Power »
In a world shaken by ecological, social, and spiritual crises, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, numb, or powerless. But as Joanna Macy reminds us, “Active Hope is not wishful thinking. It is not waiting to be rescued… it is something we become.”
This fall, I invite you to join a global, online journey inspired by the book Active Hope by Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone. Together, we will explore how to face the mess we’re in — with our eyes wide open — and step into the kind of hope that moves us into action, connection, and renewal.
About the Journey
From September 5th to December 12th, we will move through the powerful framework of the Work That Reconnects, which helps us:
- express our gratiitude
- honor our pain for the world,
- see with new eyes,
- and go forth with purpose.
This is not a course to “consume” — it’s a space to live into, and be transformed by.
The Format
I propose the following format for this journey:
- Reading the book Active Hope or joining the free online course
- Doing short reflections and personal exercises between sessions
- Meeting every two weeks on Zoom in a warm, facilitated group
- Engaging in 1-to-1 conversations every two weeks with a fellow traveler
- Sharing inspiration and reflections in a dedicated WhatsApp group
You can participate freely, and we invite conscious contribution at the end of the Journey.
What You May Gain
- Inner Strength and Clarity in navigating uncertain times
- A Sense of Community with like-hearted people across the world
- Practices That Reconnect you to self, others, and Earth
- A Different Relationship with Hope — not as a feeling, but as a practice
- Energy and Renewal for your path ahead
I would love to walk part of this path with you.
Un parcours en français sera proposé le 1° semestre 2026.
